Pixel Portal Arcade was San Antonio’s premier destination for gamers and nostalgia lovers. Blending classic retro cabinets with modern favorites, it offered a one-of-a-kind space to relive the golden age of arcades, celebrate birthdays, and bring the community together.
Though the arcade has since closed its doors, it remains a fond chapter in San Antonio’s gaming history.
As a freelance artist for Pixel Portal Arcade, I brought the brand’s playful spirit to life through a wide range of creative projects.
From branding, signage, and digital assets to eye-catching merchandise like apparel, pop sockets, and stickers, I designed visuals that connected with the arcade’s vibrant community.
One of the standout projects was a bold, mural-style vehicle wrap for the arcade’s box truck, which quickly became both a moving landmark around San Antonio and a popular selfie spot for fans.
