VTubers are so cool, especially when it comes to creating them. There are a few VTubers I like and follow, and seeing them do their thing makes me wonder if I could do the same. Maybe I could even make my own model. I could even learn how to rig it myself… Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Take it easy, self!
I didn’t know where to start or what to use when the idea came to mind, but fortunately, I happened to meet a VTuber! Barg is a skilled artist, so skilled in fact that she designed/drew her own model, or should I say models. She and I work in the same place, and that’s how we met and became friends. We got to hanging out, and naturally, I met her partner. That’s when I learned that Barg’s partner is a skilled Model Rigger! I summoned the courage to ask about the process and what I’d need to get started, and they were so happy to help and offer advice. I’m genuinely grateful to them for their kindness and hospitality. They gave me so much inspiration that I went to work sketching a model to practice on, but, naturally, I got so fixated on the design aspect that I never progressed with the process. It was frustrating cause I just wasn’t happy with my ideas. I didn’t mention this before, but being friends with Barg, I slowly learned more about the furry community, and eventually I caved and decided to make a fursona (Barg was pleased about this, as she too has a fursona). Like before, the whole design process completely overshadowed the VTuber model I was trying to make, then I thought, what if my fursona was the model! After so much time, I did get my fursona design finalized, and I’m pretty happy with her look. Now I just need to get off my butt and get the ball rolling. I won’t let you win procrastination!
Well, I wish you well and hope good things come your way! Till next time!
She doesn’t have a name yet, to be honest I just use my nickname.
